Movie 1. Inverse kinematic analysis of the windlass mechanism. Lateral (left) and top view (right) of the dynamic analysis run on one set of kinematics data for one of the three subjects. In the first step of the inverse kinematic analysis the segments translate from the neutral position to the first frame of the stance phase (at heel-strike) following linear trajectories. Subsequently the segments are driven following the markers’ trajectories recorded during the stance phase of the walking trial.
