Travelling fellowships |
|
The Journal of Experimental Biology offers fellowships of up to US$5000 / £2500 to graduate students and post-docs wishing to make collaborative visits to other laboratories. These are designed to cover the cost of travel and other expenses, and there is no restriction on nationality. Applicants should be working in a field covered by The Journal of Experimental Biology and intend to visit another laboratory. Each application is judged on the excellence of the candidate and the importance and innovative quality of the work to be done. To apply please email the completed application form (as a PDF or Word document), together with the documents specified on the application form, to the JEB Administrator margaret{at}biologists.com When putting your application together, please note the following: * Only one person per laboratory may apply for funding per funding round * You cannot apply to Development, Disease Models and Mechanisms and the Journal of Cell Science at the same time as applying for a travelling fellowship from The Journal of Experimental Biology * The date of travel must occur within six months of being awarded funding * We do not provide funds to attend training courses * Incomplete applications will not be considered Download application form in PDF format or Word format Deadlines for applications are 30 April, 31 August and 31 December |
